Sean Nowland played bass for the humble but mighty, once and future Tree Frogs and Funk Shui.

​He also played for such bands as Afroknot, Old Flames, Cooper & the Jam, Kris Deelane and the Hurt.  

Sean now plays in own band Hammerhead, the second best Hammerhead at best in Portland.  See below for performance dates.

Martial Arts

 Sean Nowland teaches Chinese kungfu and taijiquan.

 He has studied martial arts for over 35 years, and has taught for 23 years.

 Sean now studies Brazilian jiujitsu, and holds the rank of  brown belt in that art.

 He is available for private instruction in kungfu or taijiquan.
